Default Pan hard bar

What is the advantage of the pan hard bar suspension? I see several different models for the wraith but want to know the advantage before buying.

A panhard bar is a means of rigidly locating the axle lateraly while still allowing necessary suspension movement

The advantage, IMO, is mostly esthetic. Brings the servo into the frame and off the axle. I have less articulation than the 4-link setup. Still happy with it. =)

There is not really an advantage to the 3 link. When used with the cms kit it only improves the scale appearance, nothing else. With the 3 link I actually have more lateral movement do to the side to side sway during articulation. 4 link keeps the axle centered. But I have no complaints about either set up. Both function well and to me neither is better than the other.

Its helps keep bump steer under control when using chassis mounted steering. It's more than just for scale appearance, it actually serves a purpose. There is more lateral movement with a 4 link, but you don't really see it when crawling.... UNTIL you move the steering servo into the chassis! Without a panhard, the wheels get turned a lot. When you install the panhard, it cuts the bump steer way down to almost nothing. Just like in a 1:1
