Default Wraith/Scx10 hybrid

Hopefully this is the right section for this build?

After replacing the frame on my wraith, i used the old 1 to build this truck from spare parts and a junker scx10 i got from ebay.

I suck at build threads so i just have preliminary finished photos.

Parts list,

wraith frame
Scx10 front and rear axles
scx10 tranny with integy 35t motor
jr ds8711 servo(24kg @ 6v?)
rooster crawler esc, spectrum tx & rx
traxxas stampede drive shafts
Proline power stroke scaler shocks(new)
Axial treps on locked up rc Adversary bead locks with vp .350 hubs(no breather holes yet)(also
new for this build)
Wheel base 310mm, centre skid clearance 45mm(will need longer shock or
shock drop kit for more centre clearance).

I can't wait to see that dash when it's finished. How thick is that styrene? I've never worked with it before and I would like to try making a custom dash for my wraith.

I used 1mm styrene for this project, the dash was easy to make cause its only made up of flat shapes. The gauge pods are made from styrene tube and i used 1mm styrene rod for the edging.

The right hand drive conversion is done now, the gauge faces are from the Proline jeep body for the wraith and i added a glove box, grab handle and some cup holders to the centre console and also laid down some black carpet on the floor. I dug out the model paints and painted the gear sticks chrome silver with red gear knobs.

Very nice! I have to say my bronco is the funnest rig I have built yet! Something about the wraith chassis and scx10 axles is just awsome! Nice work on the dash! Here's my thread for reference, although you have already put more thought into yours!
My cash friendly 1.9 bronco!

Installed some scx10 power stroke shocks, repainted the stock side body panels and added a dinky rc drop box and Proline roof rack and faux light bar.
I bought some ci foams for the Axial treps that were on it but, they were to big so i bought some Proline tsl xl's for it.

I have got about 10hrs drive time on this truck now, very fun to drive and doesn't get high centred as much as i thought it would. Needs some weight up front and some shock tuning, springs might be too stiff?

Done a basic hinged bonnet with cable ties and highlift body mounts.

I got a Proline jeep body to use on this truck but the wheels rub terribly on the guards, i tried .850 hubs on the wheels to widen the track but it was'nt enough . Guess ill have to do a ax/xr conversion on the axles to get some width that way?

Double hub your hubs. I think i have spare screws for this as i did with some of mine. Dan at Hulksta also makes delerin hub spacers to widen your track. I think i have some spare if you wish to try

I think having so much length hanging off the axles i will run the risk bending a axles shaft with the way i drive

Just upgrade your axels to Ti and run beef tubes front and rear for extra strength.

Excellent interior work! I just built one up too, wish I had read some of these threads before diving in. Great work on the front servo area, I went the CMS route. Where is your receiver hiding if you don't mind me asking? In front of the ESC?

It sits on a plastic tray in between the seats under the interior, i don't drive in water or mud so it should be safe.

As far as three wheeling goes, your video seemed like it wasn't too bad. It does seem like maybe you could go with a little softer foams and springs up front for better crawlability. You could also go with a stiffer spring in the opposite rear corner of the front that wants to lift, to combat that some, but you will never get all of it out.
