| replace plastic knuckles?
I haven't broken one yet and i beat on it pretty hard with a roc412 and rc4wd 2 speed. cart wheels, curb jumps, 20mph speed runs that usually end bad and a lot of mash and it and close the eyes style driving. my stock plastic wheels have stripped out and wobble so i'm getting aluminum beadlocks and new tires and changing out the bearings(vines killed them). so should i go for aluminum knuckles while i'm at it or ride these out? already have aluminum c hubs. Thanks |

I would get a full upgrade kit for all that stuff before you do snap something. Sounds like you already put the stock pieces through the ringer!

I have aluminum chubs only because the first day I drive it the top knuckle screw backed out and I broke one. The replacement was free to I took the upgrade!!! My knuckles are all stock plastic and holding up fine. The will eventually wear out around the upper and lower pivot holes but for now, all 4 of my AR60 vehicles are running stock and holding up. I refuse to spend money where/when it isn't needed. |
