| Thanks for the invisible instructions !!
Well you certainly get what you pay for. I now reached a point where I'm gonna stop cheaping out and stop putting down products that seem over priced ( at first glance). Vanquish, I apologize to you first... I'm sorry ... I used to kinda have a hate on for your prices. That us until yesterday when I received my 10 Piece Titanium link kit for my wraith.. Top Notch !!! I'm a Sooo glad I bought the good stuff this time. Ok back to my story.. I cheaped out and bought a Level3 RC Chassis Mounted Servo kit. The price, very cheap ( $24) .. However they forgot to include the special glasses for reading the invisible instructions.. So I go to the website.. " instructions coming soon"!!! Ha.. Not soon enough for me tonight as I fight with a cheap pile of aluminum parts, holes that have to be reamed out fit over the wraiths chassis bars, etc, etc... I still (after an hour) don't have it installed and I gave up for the night. Next time!!!! I buy from a company with a good reputation and support. I urge you all to do the same .. The money you spend now will quickly be overshadowed by the quality you experience tomorrow. Greg Sent from my highly abused iPhone using Tapatalk |

That's a lesson that seems to hold true across most of this hobby. And who needs instructions?! |

I won't name any names, but some of the so called high end stuff doesn't come with any instructions either. So while the logic behind spending your hard earned cash on proven products is sound, it doesn't necessarily guarantee a better experience when installing it.

The last thing I'd ever buy would be the titanium links. I to dislike the prices but some of theyre stuff may be worth it. |

I'm guilty of not sending instructions with some of our stuff. Time to get out the wet noodle and finish up those stragglers like the BR mini insert and the Revolver S instructions!

I do have instructions for some things that we produce but not everything. In the RC world, that's pretty much how its always been even since the 80's and beyond. Scaler/Crawler stuff? ... We are the worst. High end/low end, from the U.S. to China,... Instructa-what's be damned. You may have a part or 2 left over, cause we have no idea where to put it. As for the high end, expensive parts, I swear by them.... its worth the longevity... and helps you finish a course. |

That guy is me, and my list is longer than the noodle will reach. What guides would you want to see first?

Other than assembling them (I hate building links), I love my Ti links. Beefy, they slide well, and the price isn't too bad for what you get IMO.

| Re: Thanks for the invisible instructions !! What do they offer? SS AL? Variety of lengths? Found em' If I was buying a link set for the stock Wraith setup these would be fine. Alas I am in a situation where I needed non standard length links up front & I still have not seen a better selection of link lengths in m4. VP still is the 1. Which solder is best, can I use regular soldering iron, what heat, what wires, does size matter what wires do I plug into the castle link? What is a castle link? Where can I get it lol, are u sure thats going to work with a holmes esc, i mean its castle link not a holmes link, where on the motor do I solder? if I touch the motor with the soldering iron will it explode? Which direction do the wires need to go. Can I use any color wire? What is the best wire? How long does it have to be(thats what she said lol) Weve been to the game. Hell we are top of the mountain looking down right now. Lots of people are overwhelmed especially when starting and sometimes, almost everytime get attacked when asking the questions even when the directions written for dummies are in the box and posted all over the place. I started this post just to mainly agree with you but I myself tend to always look at the question from the other side. Helps in life knowing what the other person is thinking, that's marketing and sales 101 but not everyone can be taught. However you my friend are one sharp damn knife in the drawer so id love to see where this goes! Bottom line is your right its simple but who is it simple too? Everyone or a few? Ooo that sh1ts deep right there son!!! Thanks, ORK | |

I do believe in buying cheap stuff when you are on a budget. In all honesty, I want my wraith to be a full Vanquish product because they make some of the nicest stuff out there. I have their light bar, panhard/cms kit, drag link, and soon I will have their aluminum axles. Gonna be some fun times. I really didn't like Level3 RC's "panhard" setup. It doesnt look very professional and the design wasnt all that impressive. I bought their front steering link and lift kit for my SCX and was not impressed. The front link is a square design and felt like it caught on everything. The lift kit wasnt too bad because you can adjust it to different settings. |
