Default Northern Michigan crawler build

Well, after watching my buddy bash his Wraith around my property a few times I figured it was time to get one for myself. And once I got it, I couldn't stop building it, so I thought I'd share my build. Its all over the place from homemade shock mounts to full stage 1 conversion kits.

So far my purchases include-
-(4) Integy T2 piggyback shocks
-(4) Integy T3 lower shock mounts
-(2) Integy T3 upper shock mounts (front)
-Proline Crawler/Desert Light bar
-Integy GT 12 light LED kit
-(2) Axial High clearance aluminum links
-(2) Integy type I diff covers
-Integy stage 1 conversion for axial wraith

I have also made a solid aluminum rear bumper and a lift for the front shock mount out of 1/8" aluminum flat stock.

All parts ordered aside from the hi-clearance links are Integy lime green anodized. Most parts are still in the mail but here's a few shots of the first round of install.

I also did a homemade modification to my drive-shaft as shown in an upcoming picture. I threaded a bolt into a male drive-shaft tube and removed the ends to make a solid sliding male connector, which is connect 2 female drive-shaft tubes connected at the tranny and axle.

Had another package arrive while I was posting earlier. Back with more shots of the rest.

Got the front suspension as well as lower and top mounts.

Got my light bar on, now just waiting for the led kit which should be here monday or tuesday.

Finally got myself a new spur and pinion set up. Trying out 84/14 for now. Also got my full conversion kit installed and snagged an anodized blue servo horn. Pics to come soon.

Looking at getting a new motor and esc. any suggestions? looking for a good range of speed yet high low end torque.

Holmes Hobbies and Team Brood are the two you are going to hear on here over and over again.
I have had and used both. Both are GREAT and will rock your world.

Holmes makes a motor specifically for the Wraith, even tells you what gears to run to keep the temps in check when running.
What are you running for batteries? 3s 2s?
