Default 87yota's Poison Spider Wraith...

well ...i got myself a little xmas present...

bought the new poison spider wraith....i like it...but it needs upgrades...gonna hopefully do this right the first time around...

these are the upgrades im doing...a lot of them have still yet to be installed....

Blue Monkey Stage 1 Titanium links w Revo ends
VP chubs,knuckles,and lockouts
RC4WD AX2 2 speed Tranny
Tekin FXR motor and esc
STRC diff covers
Blitz axle trusses
Novak Glitch buster
CC BEC
Savox servos for tranny and steering
Axial HD axleshafts
VP lockers
Fast Eddy bearings

so....hopefully this should be a good setup...gonna be fun to put this together!

buuutttt.....i have a few questions....im still kind of a novice when it comes to the radio/reciever thing...whats the SIMPLEST setup to use for this combo? i am running 2S lipo with this setup as i hope to get longer runtimes when wheeling...i ordered the Venom 2S lipo 25c 7.4 v 5000MAH batteries...

my next question is when i install the Tekin...is it already prewired or no?
whats the best way to set that up?

sorry for long post but im trying to make this rig as bulletproof as i can...and i want to do it right...i figured spend the money now and hopefully wont have too many issues...also wonder what i should run for shocks and spur/pinion when this is mainly a crawler...would like high speed capabilty as well...thats why i bought the AX2....

beres a few pics of how she sits for now...i will update as the upgrades are installed...

did some research in the Harley thread and the gearing thread and i think 87/16 is going to be the gearing that should hopefully work for me...i would like to be able to do some hillclimbs and technical crawling...seems like this is best way to go...well see once its installed...haha
