Default Newbie needs help with Castle likn

I have the poison spyder and need to change the lipo to off. I have the castle link, what is the easiest way to hook the castle cable to the esc? do I need to remove the body? should I move the motor before doing the change or move the pinion gear? and how do I move the pinion gear? Sorry but a real newbie and need some advise.

Thanks, Tom

remove the body open the rx box up and unplug the esc connector. plug the esc connector into the castle link which should already be plugged into your computer, pay attention to the polarity of the link to the esc plug.....(presuming you already have the castle software up and running) there is no need to even turn on the rig. the battery should be unplugged. run the castle software and make your changes from there, being sure to click on the update tab when you have finished with your changes. it will tell you when it is done.
