| Revolver S stubby in a wraith?
Has anyone put a Holmes revolver stubby in a wraith? Will it have good wheel speed? I tried searching but couldn't find anything.

I'd get the regular size one.

Although the HH Puller Pro 3500 and Trailmaster Pro 3300 540's seem to be in stock at Holmes right now.

I have the Trailmaster Pro 540 3300kv right now and I'm not very happy with it. I'm looking for something that will be more smooth on the bottom end.

Did you ever find a solution for this? I had the same trailmaster pro motor in my scx10 and the low end is not that great simply because its a 2-pole motor. If you get a roc412 or the new HH puller it'll be significantly better. I sold mine and got a roc412 and it was a world of difference in the crawl/low-end smoothness. As for a revolver in a wraith i have no answer for that but 2000kv is roughly 30t and the initial videos of the revolver are in a wraith and are hauling butt. I have the revolver 540 and the stubby and they are incredibly smooth, they are in scx10 based rigs though. I do not see them not having the torque needed for a wraith and you can gear them pretty high and still have smooth low end. Just need to get a HH BLE esc one of these days to get rid of the dreaded outrunner motor chatter. |

No I never did. I'm debating getting the new Holmes puller 540 4 pole.

I had my stubby in my wraith for a day. 2000 kv means you have to gear it a bit high or run 4S to get wheel speed, and as a 520 it gets a bit warm. that motor is soooo supple and controllable I like it better in a scaler/trail rig. Last edited by Angus_Beef; 06-20-2015 at 01:29 AM.
