| Wraith with tacon 3900 brushless motor
I'm looking at a wraith with a sidewinder and a tacon brushless motor and a sidewinder esc is that a good combo for crawling??

No. You want a sensored motor and ESC.

x2 on what Calderwood said. The sidewinder does not handle sensored brushless motors. It does have the ability to run brushed motors. A brushed motor, say a 35t will give you a good balance of rock bashing and trail running. A sensored brushless motor will do the same thing but you will need to get a Castle MMP or similar ESC that can run a sensored brushless. If you go with the setup you mentioned it will strictly be speed basher and you don't really want that in a Wraith do you?
