Default BEC/spektrum sr300 question

When using the castle BEC with a standard spektrum SR300 receiver do you plug the BEC into the AUX plug and the ESC in the THR plug as usual?

You can use any available open plug.

so long as you first remove the red wire from the esc plug, you can't have both the bec & the esc supplying power to the reciever.
Don't cut the esc wire, use a pointed tool (a hobby knife works well) to release the terminal from the connector, lift the little black plastic tag where the copper connector is showing & pull the wire back

fold the wire back & tape it up, on most esc you'll need to be able to put it back to be able to re-program the esc.
