Default Stock Servo going Nuts HELP

Driving the wraith today an no big crashes (today) and all of a sudden the servo (stock) starts spinning really fast but not turning the main gear that the horn mounts on. So I took the servo off and looked at all the gear and non of them are broken put it all back and still doing it. What is going on?

Unfortunately it is a brand new aluminum horn. I wish it was that easy!

a friend of mines did that not too long ago and the guy at our hobby shop said it was something electrical making it constantly look search for center. Kind of like having a limit switch go bad or something of that nature i guess.

If you hear spinning, it could be that the motor pinion has come undone from the motor shaft. Just like the motor on your truck, servo motors have pinions. Perhaps its slipping. Also perhaps the gear directly off the motor stripped. They are very small and it only takes 3 teeth for the motor to slip. If that's the case just spin the gear 180°

Thanks guys for the input I took it apart again and there were some teeth that were stripped. I was able to take a pin out and rotate it 180 degrees and she is back up and running. I think the motor in the servo is a little weaker now than before but that is to be expected I guess with it being the stock servo.
