Now after submerging it for all that time, let it sit for a week and then fire it up. Any servo will work submerged. My Hitec digitals still worked great after flipping my boat and being half submerged for up to 45 minutes at a time. Corrosion X works wonders.

Servo worked for another few months it finally died when I was doing wheelies on the asphalt and went into a massive bouncing football cartwheel that cracked the servo case. The servo was also water tested on the trail.

Wet dry muddy dry wet you name it see passed over a long period of time.

I will not dip my 100 dollar savor in a glass of water to do the same test nor would I dip a 175 dollar hi tech.

I use my stuff over a long period of time I abuse my stuff. I would not feel right talking as highly about this servo if I had not given it a long term test.

Fact is this is a damn awesome servo. And I say that after a few years of testing

I'd like to see all servos tested submerged. Lol since you say any servo will work submerged but takes time to dry out and fail.

Those of you willing let's see it

Whenever my boat flipped and filled with water, after I got it in, I took the servos apart, compressed air dry, flood with Corrosion X, reassemble and reinstall. I never thought to plasti-dip them or use conformal coating.

My cheap servo I use in the scx10 is the Solar D772. For $17 if it shits, no biggie.
