I really like the new body AND the interior, a fresh new look! It actually looks a lot like the new Jeep Grand Cherokee! |

I don't know where or who make different fronts for the ICF wheels ? Sure you can change them but to what, the same? That is just pointless, to offer a wheel option but have no other option .

Right, but you can't just a set of faces like a new set of outer rings. You gotta buy the whole wheel. Nor that they are dependable, it just should not be a selling point and found it misleading on the poison spyder. That's all.

Is this the best that they can come up with to improve the wraith? I think my next rig will be a Vaterra Ascender. A hell of a lot better out of the box than any scx10.

The Wraith is probably my all time favorite rig. This rehash is alright, I do like the interior option, as for the body, that's just a preference thing. Some people this an SCX Rubicon is more scale than a Wraith, where in reality I don't think any Axial is more scale than the Wraith. | |

Axial says the new body is compatible with the SCX10 and AX10, I wonder how long it will be before there is a spawn version of those too.

The biggest con I could see right now for the Vaterra is that it just came out and I can't upgrade the hell out of it like I did with the scx10. I'll wait until the market floods with aftermarket parts before I get one. Now if Axial made the axle width somewhere between the scx10's and the wraith's, that would make me happy.

I just got the previous version of the Wraith and don't regret as I see no real change to it. I can understand cost reducing but a few things could have been done to the design without price dropping. For example, most of us buy the wraith today to make it an U4, KOH like rig - the PS version seemed to guide us towards it -: why have they kept that square shape of the rear tube cage when everyone tries to cut it to have a more scale appearance or place a 5th wheel ? I also really hope they took care of those plastic hubs... The body, not my thing but to each his own ! a few easy to bolt up, smartly designed to allow scalish look parts (5th wheel, winch mounting support, trailing arms) would be to me better options... Buy a Yeti ? Prefer the look of the Wraith though... Long live the Wraith ! |

Im pretty stoked about this! im going to be buying that new body for sure. Now all i have to do is order the cage parts to reverse the fastback mod on my rig. Its a bummer they kept the 20t they should have just done the 27t that will actually last more than a few packs.

I thought it looked like a range rover too. But an older one like a 1989 ? The tall tired one I think they got 16 in wheels and the old Buick design aluminum v8 engine ,but with fuel injection. Solid axles. I think they may have alloy body's???
