Default Traxxas GTR shocks?

Has anyone tried them? They are much cheaper than Prolines, ball ends both upper and lower, and in I don't see any reason it should perform worse than the Big Bore. But I've never seen anyone run them.

They're short and fat, if off the revo or summit the springs are super stiff !

They come in standard Slash length also, L and XXL. Spring rate on the softest spring is about the same as Axial Purple which i run with Big Bores now. Traxxas has dropped the price tag on these and the regular Big Bores, well under the price of Prolines. Should fit well if one will accept the large diameter. In my opinion they look sick and should suit my "off scale" project.

I really like the look of them, the bigger diameter isn't my favorite but maybe it won't be an issue. May have to give them a try.
