One of the best parts, in the long run, of getting a Kit is being able to NOT use the included self tapping hardware on all the vital axle and suspension bits. I know newbs don't have a decent hardware selection, but I do. Team KNK sells an entire screw set for something like $20. The truck stays together so much better if you use machine thread screws into the virgin plastic, as opposed to replacing a lost self tapping kingping bolt with a machine thread version and retapping the plastic. |
