Default hobbywing extreme crawler suerscharged

Has anyone run one of these is a wraith? I was thinking a 21.5 turn. I have always ran castle systems in my RCS but this time I wanna try something else. Its either this or a tekin rx8 and roc412.

If you want to go brushless why not save a few hundred dollars this is a great system that performs just as good as the Tekin stuff you mentioned.

ESC is very much tunable and also able to be flashed with hobbywing v3.1 firmware for even more options. That is basically all it is, is a hobbywing with hobbyking stickers on it. X-car 120a ESC Manual Here is the manual if you want to look. I have only owned mine for a short amount of time but I purchased it only after doing a fair amount of research on it. It got great reviews from just about everyone.

You can adjust timing on the motor by rotating the endcap. Timing is also available in the esc as well. I recently disassembled a ROC412 Tekin motor and I will tell you that the trackstar is almost identical in construction as far as I can tell. I have the 4850KV version and it creeps as good as my buddy's 55t brushed motor.

Rick, here's troutts in-depth comparative thread on a 3100kV vs. a 4850kV.

A quality 220 amp ESC can make anything look good. I've got a 4000kV 3656 for my 4x4 short course trucks, runs good on the Tekin RX8 Gen2. I get similar performance from my 4000kV Reedy 550-SL. Neither are high dollar motors, but the $55 Reedy is built much cleaner.
