| Spectrum DX4r Pro vs. stock RTR Controller w/ Protek 170T
Hey dudes, burnt up the stock servo on my Wraith Spawn RTR. Purchased a Protek 170T servo (w/BEC). My question is, can I use the stock controller with this new servo or should I use my DX4r Pro with it instead. I race Pro 4 and usually use this controller exclusively for this. I've read that with the stock controller you can't really fine tune the steering adjustments as you would want and I certainly don't want to burn up a $130.00 servo by using an inferior controller. Need advice.

Yes you will get more adjustment with the DX4 but the stock controller should be fine. Turn on the system before putting the servo horn on and center it and make sure the servo isn't trying to turn past the angle the cvds can handle. Pretty sure you can adjust with the stock radio for that.

The old style stock radio did not have epa adjustments but I believe the new style does. Regardless I would switch to the dx4r radio.
