| nfcrockett's Wraith Build
I figured I'd go ahead and start emptying the wallet on my wraith, hence a build thread. The wraith is mostly stock as it sits. I ended up buying a yeti shortly after purchasing the wraith. So the wraith for the most part has been sitting collecting dust for the last 8 months. Now that my yeti is "bullet proofish" I'll start shifting my focus on building a U4 style wraith. With that being said this is the chassis for now. I plan on keeping this a "slower budget" build, we'll see how that goes. I'll post more progress once my dlux axle housings and truss' arrive, hopefully this weekend. Last edited by nfcrockett; 09-17-2015 at 08:56 PM. |

Well "slow budget build" went out the window. Ordered a bunch of parts, left for a 2 day vacation and came home to my house flooded. Yesterday I was finally able to stay at home and I worked on the wraith while the 10 fans and 2 dehumidifers were going. Here's a sneak peak for now. I'll have some more detailed pictures up. Also, waiting for supershafty's bombproof trans to become available. Last edited by nfcrockett; 10-04-2015 at 09:22 PM. |

I have the axles fully built now, shocks and sway bar mounted. -dlux axle housings -dlux g10 truss -vp stage 1 kit -vp lockers -vp bearing caps -beef tubes -axial uni's -pro-line powerstrokes slash rears -hr sway bars, rear currently installed Servo was slightly exposed below the axle. So I made a servo guard out of aluminum. |
