| Best all around brushless setup for wraith under$200
Under $200 Must be esc and motor Looking to bash but be able to crawl a bit as well, I wanna go faster then a 20turn brushed motor, I'll most likely run it with just 7cell Nimh, so that's a factor. I wanna bash, crawl, get wet etc |

Look into the Novak Crusher and 13.5 Ballistic Crawler combo. With Tower Hobbies code 011LC and free shipping it's under just $200 and NiMH/NiCd compatible.

Check out Holmes Hobbies. You can get a Trailmaster BLE pro ESC and a Trailmaster BL Sport motor in a combo. You can have either waterproofed as well. That ESC will run brushed and brushless at up to 6s so 7cell NiMh is easy. The motor comes in 2700, 3300 and 5000kv as well. Start here: Holmes Hobbies LLC Click configure and select your motor and ESC + options. Good luck. Sean |

I ran an atomik rc sensored 120a esc and 7.5t 4pole 550 sensored brushless. The thing is a stump puller (snapped the stock axles on the first pull) . And can crawl at a snails pace. It was easily programable. Best $100 I ever spent.

| Re: Best all around brushless setup for wraith under$200 $100 might be a typo or it may have been on sale at the time. Atomik ESC Motor Combo (ATK13027) | ESC - Speed Control | RC Planet Amazon.com: Atomik RC Red 550 2650kv 7.5T Brushless Sensored Motor 120A ESC Combo TowerHobbies.com | Atomik Red Sensored 120A ESC/550 4.5T BL Motor Combo << Not a 7.5, but the only combo Tower had. Atomik RC Red 550 2650KV 7.5T Motor 120A ESC Combo - eBay I wouldn't give $100 for the combo, I certainly wouldn't drop $200+ on it. |

It was $100 on ebay, should have snagged two. My MMP shit the bed and I was waiting on the warranty. but I can't find them that cheap anymore. It has crawler mode and doesn't need to be plugged into a laptop or use a program card.

I've had very good luck with this Hobbyking set up: Turnigy TrackStar GenII 120A Brushless Short Course Truck ESC PRODUCT ID: 9052000061-0 $63 Turnigy XK3650-3200KV Brushless Inrunner (Sensored) PRODUCT ID: 9393000029-0 $34 Hobbyking YEP 20A HV (2~12S) SBEC w/Selectable Voltage Output PRODUCT ID: 9355000029-0 $12 prices may vary a bit, depending on where you are located and which warehouse can supply the items. If you pull the trigger less then gentle, this set is pretty well capable of ruining your stock drivetrain in minutes (trust me on this one). And as it is sensored it crawls pretty well too. Well, HobbyWing (and or it's authorised sellers like Asiatees) make you happy for less then a $100,- with the sensored Quicrun combo's and a program card. Make a choice between 21,5T, 17,5 T and faster and faster...

Traxxas ET-3S from ebay for $65 (flash it with Castle software or run it as is) Traxxas Funny Car Castle Creations Et 3S ESC Speed Control | eBay Holmes Trail Master Pro for $85 Holmes Hobbies LLC Should be all the power you need without being so powerful that your NIMH packs can't meet the demand. Add in a Castle BEC and Castle Link and you are still under $200. |
