Well at Axial Fest I was lucky enough to win one of the vehicle give aways and I won his beauty! An Axial Wraith! It's been decked out with an array of Vanquish parts and Judd Rummage, who built it, named it orange crush if I'm not mistaken. So I'm keeping the same project name. Wanted to thank every one that made this possible to win and to win such a solid platform to work with Last edited by Solid94; 07-23-2015 at 09:15 AM. |

Almost forgot to mention the upgrade ideas. So all the electronics are bone stock. So they gotta go. Here is the plan: Crawl master 13t motor Either full metal gears in the trans or my trans that's already full metal with a VP dig(haven't decided yet) MIP drive shafts Hitech 7950 servo And some lights for night crawling Also need to design a way to hinge this spawn body |

That is one sweet looking rig. I gotta get me a set of those Vanquish OMFs. Congrats man. Really cool what they did with that spawn body.

| Re: Project Orange Crush Congrats and good choice on shocks and springs. Treps are good in 1.9 but not so good in loose sand/dirt, the 2.2s are much wider so should be good, I'd try them and see. For 2.2 I really like Ripsaws. with CI DW foams.

Sweet thanks! Yea I have a set of 2.2 iroks laying around but they are huge so was just sending some feelers out. Once I get a chance to dial in the rig the way I want I'll see how treps perform Last edited by Solid94; 07-23-2015 at 08:04 PM. | |

Damn, I really like those. Anyone have any idea who makes them? First time I've seen a "boatside" style slider for the Wraith.

Okay I just got an email back from Judd. He said he bought them from a builder on Facebook named Pig Snot Chassis. Here is a link https://m.facebook.com/pigsnotchassi...urce=typeahead |

No problem! I'm hoping to have some updates next week on the car. Waiting for a few parts to show up and to tear down my current 2.2

Yup, pig snot chassis boat sliders, ive been eyeing them for a few months now. Please put those sliders to work and let me know. Im worried if the second bar will get hung up on stuff and also more weight, there steel and i think there a half pound extra for both sides. But they look badass. But props on winning the rig, looks awesome. |
