Default Mattzilla chassis

Alright guys This is my first wraith build and I have a mattzilla chassis on the way! Anyone have some pics of how they mounted the battery and esc? I haven't seen one of these in person but I assume it's a bit tighter than the stock cage?
Any advice on stuff I will need and should expect would be awesome!

Wraithzilla, getting it in trade.

Nobody? Watched Harley's video but still not sure on what to do for the interior, I would like it to be as complete as possible but he used quite a few 3D printed parts it looked like.

Kinda baffled as to where the mmp is going to go since it's so tall with the fan.
Can't find many build threads for these and it's my first 1/10 build.

if you have the ability to weld/braze..... you could stand you a plate up on the firewall and mount your esc there

I'm sure this could apply to the matzilla chassis. But this is how I mounted my battery on the chassis I made. Just use some sheet metal and steel rod and weld your self one. Try to draw it out on cardboard and measure it. I just eyeballed it and rigged it up then welded up in the front for easy access and extra weight.

That was my plan but it to shallow up front under the hood to fit my esc. Probly use the same concept on the firewall or inside of the door.

Nice! Did you build the seat also? I like the back deck too, I was thinking of doing the same just maybe making it 1/2" deep. Where did you get the fuel cell?

hey, thanks. that seat came from Cory as TSS. they are in the vendor section - it's a really great product. comes flat and with a pattern - you just bend it into shape.

The Fuel cell is from the Yeti. it's big enough to hold the receiver, bec, two light controllers, and a whole bunch of wires that I didnt bother to shorten

Well got everything mocked in to do a little testing and wow I absolutely love this thing! I have a 10t pinion in and I'm surprised how much wheel speed I have with 2s, can't wait to get a 3s to try.
After I take it out on the trails I'm tearing it down for powder coat and build a permanent interior. I'm going to combine a bunch of the ideas I have seen on here and hopefully it will turn out half as nice as some of the rigs I see on here.
Thinking about a lime green cage with flat black powder coated ss panels or tesla red cage with flat black, and wheels and beadlocks to match.

Kawasaki green and flat black go well. Just powdercoated an scx10 chassis and axles flat black. Did all the other parts (links skid plate and hubs kawi green. The flat black really makes the green pop.

Looking good. I just gave up on an interior for mine and went simple, kind of like a Yeti.
I did the RC4wd 2sp trans. mated to a Slash IFS front end. Battery is under the hood, ESC under Willie.

I like it! I may just so the same thing since there is no scale comps in northern Michigan. This will be more for go than show but I hate exposed wires so it will be buttoned up pretty good.

My sentiments exactly. "More go than show". Cover up the wires so it looks neat, and drive the hell out of it.

I'm not sure if I'm crazy but this thing does not lift the front end nearly as bad as with the stock chassis, this thing just seems to stay planted to the ground even with the stock blown out shocks.
