Default "Crocodile" Wraith?

So I've seen vids of those "crocodile" drive-on-water summits, and am wondering if that would be possible on a wraith? Has anyone done it before?

Well of course it's possible, it's just a matter whether you want to rebuild your entire Wraith after submersion...

It would float on wheels or something... Not be submerged

Since when can a crocodile drive on water? That's a pretty silly term.

Look in the FOFF forum.

If it's floating on the wheels then everything like transmission and axles will still be submerged and still need a tear down/clean after. I did it with with my SCX10 but it wanted to flip upside down in the water with 2.2" tires on.

I think he is referring to those videos of people hydroplaning across the water. If that is what you are referring to it is possible get water proof brushless system gear it way higher than stock and gun it. Once you don;t make it and it sinks you have to tear it down and clean it.

Doesn't seem like the risk is worth it. Even if my electronics were completely waterproof I wouldn't risk it.

Wonder if you can add wheels to a RC boat? IM Car = land, Boat = water, call me crazy.

All joking aside, the 1:1 rigs that do this do look pretty cool. Still way too risky to me. It is popular with snowmobiles as well.

I have foam in my wheels and it absolutely does not float.

Don't think I've ever seen a 1.9 or 2.2 rig that doesn't sink like a rock.
