Depends on a lot of factors. Just pure crawling with my 3200mah 3s pack with an HH Puller Pro BL motor I average about 1.5-2 hours (my cutoff is 3.4v/cell). Trail running I actually get a bit more, 2-2.5 hours. I assume because when crawling you're working the motor hard at low speed and pulling a lot of amps vs low load cruising down a trail. Roommate's Wraith with the same battery pack with a 30t Holmes Torquemaster usually hits the cutoff (3.0v/cell) at about the same time as my rig, my rig is a pound heavier, higher geared, and has loads more power and wheelspeed, goes to show the efficiency bump you get with brushless.

Not hard, just expensive (if you want good equipment)

I have a hobby wing 9.5t and 120a waterproof esc cost about £60. I hardened my gearing and obviously drive train . I get about 18 mph and a good 30 min's on constant fast mudding and hillclimbing Once you've gone brushless you ain't going back. I love my budget set up because it's to cheap to worry about. If you look after something to much it almost tempting fate in my book. I frequently submerge my wraith. |

Lost of cheaper options out there now days to meet everyone's budget. Search around and see what fits your needs and budget but not necessarily expensive if you don't need to have main stream. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk |
