Increase ground clearance on my Wraith

May I ask by changing the length of the suspension shocks will increase the ground clearance of my Wraith? Will there be any side negative effect on doing this modification?

Increasing the length of the shock can give you more ground clearance but will in turn make the rig roll over more often with it now having a higher center of gravity(COG) .

If you want ground clearance without sacrificing stability you have to go with a larger diameter tire.

Larger diameter tires still raise the COG of the rig and sacrificing stability unless you also increase the width and length to compensate.

If you want ground clearance without sacrificing stability you have to go with a wider track. (There is actually more too it, but this is you're most immediate and easy fix.)

But anything wider than wraith axles is going to look completely ridiculous and probably have issues with trail width, beaching itself on the axles or gates/etc.

I use Wheelie King shocks and only flip over if you turn sharp.

Try to keep the belly Low... Just bump the throttle before you need to get over something.

Thanks for the valuable info. Does anyone know what is the length of the stock shocks? I do not know how to measure it. Should it be from the center holes of both sides where we put the mounting screws?

Stock Wraith Spawn: 103mm shock with 70mm X 14mm spring.
