| Winch for Wraith
I have a 9.5lb Wraith and am looking for a scale winch to mount to a Wertymade front bumper. The specs on the RC4WD Warn are pretty anemic. What's the best choice in winches for this weight Wraith? Thanks |

I have the 1/8th scale Warn winch on my wraith works pretty well. It's probably close to yours in weight. Sent From My Galaxy S6 Edge+ |

i made my own winch yesterday i used my stock stering servo for a winch i just pulled the pin out and removed the plastic potensiomitor holder and used the servox large round servo horn and a small round servo horn and a long bolt and mounted it where my reciver box was originaly it easily dead lifts the wraith i watched the youtube videos they all made it seem so complicated solder here unsolder here add this cut this off i only modded the one gear that the servo horn mounts to put it back together done i searched ebay for a winch for the 10-15 range rig and couldent find anything so i decided to make one i gathered up a 380 motor some gears when i found a stock ae3 servo i figured ah why not give it a try it worked great i had to turn it down a bit because it had way to much power the tactic 300 dosent have many options for the 3rd channel so the controls are alittle clunky other than that its great

Do any of these have a defined duty cycle? Sounds like a crazy question but my 5yo has been asking for a winch for his wraith however once he gets it he will try and winch everything from his truck to his little sister. I am worried he is going to burn it out in a day.
