What are everyone's opinions on the strongest axle steering shafts? Axial, VP, ssd, others? Which ones are rebuildable with available parts? |

Axial Universals are my pick over VVDs. But Dlux has their FBA universals also...have yet to see one blow up yet. VVDs are rebuildable though. |

DLux FBA shafts are easily the strongest. Nothing else comes close.

Those look cool, I wonder if at 100$ it will outlast 3 sets of axial...?

FBA's with 8mm stubs are hands down the strongest. The 8mm stub is a better material than axial universals so they don't wear out nearly as fast. Axial universals are a great choice and cheap. But they will get sloppy eventually and then weak. Vvd's are rebuildable but aren't as strong as universals and they will get sloppy as a $3 whore if you don't out right break one requiring new inner shafts that are about the same price as a set of universals. |

All my testers used to blow up every type of shaft possible. We are going on 3 months of abuse and all those guys who used to break shafts regularly are having great luck with them. | |
