I started with standard length SCX10 12.3 wheelbase links and then trimmed them back to get the axles where I wanted them. Some people leave the axles at stock SCX10 link lengths and are happy with that.

The rear links stay the same because the axle is already positioned well in back. I used Wraith links on the rear of my 1.9 XR10 width Wraith build and they we're perfect. The fronts are a different story. They have to be very short to get the axle pulled in to put the wheels in the right location but that's really up to you. Some like it to stick out in front a bit more than others. I used some Traxxas turnbuckles I had on hand with a combination of Jato and Revo ends and experimented until I got the front axle perfect. I then measured the lengths and ordered up some Ti links from VP.

Thanks for the advice guys. Do I still need to run bent upper links in the rear if I stay with the stock wraith length??

Probably not since the driveshaft will be centered. That's the main reason those upper links are bent, to go over the driveshaft at full compression.

ill try have a measure of mine next couple of days because mine is all custom lenghts to get a correct looking wheel base. fronts are quite short, i have a panhard setup that is a mix of rc4wd/vanquise (think thats how they spell it) and custom links...ive had to mount links on the back side of alot of things to get good angles and matching angles on panhard and tie rod links etc. its more work but worth it to do customs cos alot of 1.9 wraiths look far to long

I would really appreciate if you have time to get some measurements of your links.

right got some lenghts and pics and info...

front lenghts
-upper 93mm
-lower 97mm

rear lenghts
-upper 105mm
-lower 110mm

trackbar/panhard
-82mm
-rc4wd upper wraith mount with scx10 vanquish axle mount. top tie rod is mount on backside of mount, lower tie rod is mounted in front which you will hopefully see in pic below

im using the stock plastic drive shafts which i have not had a problem with yet. i used the short front and long rear with came with the wraith kits the get correct shaft lenght without any cutting.

im using raised shock mounts and g-made transtion shocks set non-droop and the shocks are mounted outside of the axle mounts which you will also see in pics....right pics

tie rods are rc4wd med lenght from memory and i have a 25mm eye to eye servo horn

When I made my 1.9'' Wraith,

I used the same Axial Wraith aluminium links with shorter rod ends to shorten

The wheelbase a little and I shortened the Wraith shocks by changing rod ends

To get 100 mm's out of them and installed the SCX10 axles

I put the AR60 axles back on it and running 2.2'' wheels again

Using the SCX10 axles for a 1/6th scale build
