Realistically I'd say go for it, but this is 2019 and I can't be held accountable for my own actions let alone yours. | |

Or even try a new lock nut. Sometimes they lose their ability to stay locked just from wear and tear. I usually replace my wheel lock nuts once or twice a year on the average because of this reason Sent from my LM-G710VM using Tapatalk Last edited by MaX-D; 11-08-2020 at 08:54 PM. |

I would just hate for you to destroy part of your drivetrain when you don't have to. Sent from my LM-G710VM using Tapatalk |

from day one i cranked that nut down and parked it. Just run the car and upgrade what if anything fails. the kit build i have has been great for durability but i'm a crawler not a basher. Know when to lift. if you want to keep the slipper just replace he lock but or double nut it and things will stay put.

I just ordered the slipper eliminator kit from locked up rc for a new Wraith build cause i used to have the same problem on other rigs. Planning on beefing everything up so we'll see.

I run LockedUpRC slipper eliminators on the majority of my rigs. What you may rip up depends on what kind of power you’re putting through the drivetrain. A good fail safe is a derlin spur gear. I will say that i’ve beefed up everything “down stream” of the slipper eliminator.
