ive been looking around but haven't found anything conclusive. i have an old wraith but i wanna make something semi custom (like purchase carbon rails, skid plate etc ) for crawling. im tired of craming things into the cage and want to be able to put on a different body. has anyone done this without breaking the bank? if so can i see some examples or can u point be toward the parts needed? thanks in advance

I don’t know if it’ll fit the bill, but you can get parts straight from axial to convert it to the 1.9 wraith setup. That will still have the cage. Now if you’re wanting to ditch the cage entirely, you’ll looking to build what we call a “wroncho”, and you can do tons of searching on that.

Hey is this one of those Chinese cages for wraith you can find on eBay Ali express alibaba etc? I was thinking of getting one considering it’s like 35£ delivered but I’m still on the edge whether it’s worth it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My Big F150 had a wraith skid, and Scx10 axles, Vaterra TH Trailing arms in the back, and a wraith interior Rc4wd 2 spd trans, Home made chassis, and Hpi shocks. ![]() |

Will u be able to use the servo on axle? What u have is sort of what i wanna do but i noticed the wronchos are high...can they be made to hug the ground? Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk |

In my case ill have a friend modify the front cross member so a axle mounted servo will clear, it will also serve as a bumper/ mount. Keep in mind BP customs says these are builders parts so some amount of fab may be needed. As far as keeping it low it shouldn't be a problem

the trx4 frame and wraith skid makes a good combo especialy if you want to run 2.2 wheels with big tires

They look heavy and like they bring a bit of weight up top. Also I’m wondering how much suspension travel you get when they are set low. I imagine 3/4 of paint job will be gone with one tumble on rocks but I’m still tempted. Please lemme know when you do some runs Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I'm a little late to the party on this one but I'm in the midst of building a wroncho with the BP custom chassis and wraith skid. I have a build thread going in the 2.2 section ![]() Sent from my LM-G710VM using Tapatalk |

I still haven’t got her running, can’t decide on a motor, I’ve got a couple here but having trouble getting them to fit properly Been pre-occupied with my other projects As for the paint I don’t really care, if they don’t tumble your not driving it right
