Exclamation True Axial Congratulations (fa1rch1ld's rig)

Rig# AX050005
Futaba 4PK
Dual FXR's
Br00d LE 45T
Hitec HS-7950TH
Casle BEC @ 7.4v
MaxAmps 1100mah 11.1v
White Rovers
Pink rear springs dual stage piston
white front springs dual stage piston
Front
.7 SLW 225 hubs, 5.5 Nova Foam, each front is 9.7oz
Rear
.7 SLW 225 hubs, Losi Pink Foams, no added weight. each rear is 5.4 oz
Rig comes in right over 5lbs, light!

Changed up all the links. Currently sitting right at the legal limit threw the
whole suspension travel.

I thought I had the Losi Dialed in. I love the way the rig would handle and
could predict its moves...Also had to lean to drive with finesse

Have about 5 hours of driving time on it. 10 packs at around 30 min each.

So far the rig is amazing...I have completed crawls that have seemed
impossible. Seems I just got lucky or something...No rear axle issues...Maybe
its just my driving...This rig shouldn't even be comp legal....Its unfair out of
the box.

Made some changes that have helped with its climbing and break overs.

Also a thanks to Harley.....Your 4PK Video saved me

did you make the links youre using...or buy them? do you have a measurement eye to eye for them? the stance looks great...love the wheels...just might have to pick up a set of those but im thinking in the 1" version

The rear top/bottom are the AX links 101mm I think. Moved the bottom stock
links upfront and added a spacer. Upper front are cut Down a bit to keep the
clocked axle to a minimal.

They are great! They are smooth and fast. Still no gear issues but have broken
a few lower rod ends, but that is nothing new on a stock rig with 3m

I don't think anything can help me out! We need to get this rig in the hands
of a real good driver...

Looks very cool....I can't wait to get mine, but I gotta wait till the end of the month for the stock levels to get under control!

Glad the motors are working good for ya.....you are one of the few that have actually ran them, as most are still waiting on their kit! One owner says he is never gonna run them....going in a no run show truck, heh.

I don't understand how you couldn't run something so sweet. It would be like
locking a skinny white trash kid up and flauting a fat white girl infront of
him....pure insanity.
When they are not crawling butter smooth on the rocks, I mix the 4pk into
100% and with my 15T pinion front and rear, its instantly transformed into a
jumping buggy...I don't need my slash anymore

I'm not sure what the clearance is....All I know is that its high...I can take
some crazy climbs and break overs and not hit the skid or rear links. Big
improvement from the Losi shafty.

The Axial comes like that stock with the steering...Its pretty much setup out
of the box...Just need to make personal changes.

Sweet, the kit seems to have hit all expectations and more, On my t1e chassis i have about 4inches of clearance and i just wanted to see if it was nearish to that, because my bully climbs dang good. But I'm really digging the XR10 now lol. Great build, and the way you painted the body looks trick.
nice

Its deff not 4"...But its prob at 3 or a little over. Big improvement for me, my
Losi was about right at 2"

Thanks...Tried to keep the paint simple..Only took about 15 min to lay the
stripes.

There is no sign of a release date for the cutting brake. As of now the rig is a
champ without it.

Finally.....Destruction to the XR! I stopped counting packs ran in the XR after
like 25/30+ packs?.....I was starting to get frustrated that I couldn't break the
XR! 1st course of the night, got stuck in a monster hole, about half a foot from
finishing the course with 10 seconds left....So i decided to give it full
forward/reverse about 8 times....Cant describe the punishment this
car was taking...the bearings didn't want to keep up.... I'm glad I could give
everyone a good laugh last night

I'm lucky I have a 2nd XR sitting on my desk for parts.....The XR is for the
VP Trans....

Got some good updates on the XR will post up tonight...

That is how they started....I have Jato rod-ends on all the lowers...So had to
cut them down, then re-tap everything to 8/32....Will be upgrading the tops to
prob the same....
