Looking forward to following this. Since you are the tire test guru i wonder if you´re gonna stick with the rovers or switch to some crazy stuff.

CAD Pic of the HellStrom-XR Chassis.

I've upgarded all the Rodends to 4mm. The Stock XR10 Rodends are very easy to make 4mm. A 1/8th Drill bit is all thats needed. Just lightly drill out the 3mm hole with the drill bit. It drills out very easy. Once it hits bottom. You'll now. Now just install the 4mm Set screw into the XR10's Rodend.

You could run Revo Rodends, but you would need to clearance the Stock Skid out. They just barely rub.

Stock XR10 Rodends with 4mm Set Screws and XR Delrin High Clearance Front Lower Links.

Many of HR's stuff is Great for Budget minded Crawlers. I have never had an issue with HR's Knuckles, C-Hubs or Gears in my own Crawlers. I have ran all these items on MRC, Axial AX-10, Wheely King, 2.2 Clod and Super Clods. never Broke a HR part on any of them. I've had great luck with there stuff.

Just don't run their Axle Shafts...

What I posted isn't even close to what they have to offer as well.

Here is a CF Chassis set.. Only $28.88

Rear Lock Outs

Been playing with different wheels. I have mine with 10.875" width both front and rear with the front wheels at 5.5 ounces total and the rears at 4.7 ounces. I was doing some testing tonight and was really liking how it felt.

I'd like to see what you came up with....

I do like running a Narrower rear. 10.8 is fine for me on the Front.

Oh, what I am running in the rear is as wide as you can get with a 1" wheel. I was running much narrower in the rear and wider in the front but it didn't feel as stable when having to dig on a side hill. I may cut some that will narrow the front and the rear by about .375 overall and see how it feels.
