this is a good hobby to find those things!!

LOL

I would be clueless had friendly local folk, vendors and other forum members not have been willing to share their "secrets"

On the wedge, how does the shock geometry compare to the stock chassis? I love the stock setup the way I have it.

the shocks cycle more smoothly than any set up i have had the opportunity to mess with.

Geometry was changed a little but Kevin might be able to chime in on this he ran almost an identical setup radio esc's and what not with stock chassis and then ran mine and was hooked Trust me it's a working dude now for sure, but i didn't run it in stock for but for two packs

You got it, I ran 6 courses at Disney with my rig and didn't finish a single one of them, then after the comp, I ran Chad's XR on two courses, roughly timing myself I finished both in under 3 min each. This rig flat out works, it was night and day difference. They wedge makes ledges effortless and as far as the suspension cycling, the high clearance links do hit the uppers at the very end of the compression, but beleive me it doesn't affect a thing. BDW is for sure the way to go.

Hey Chad, what's the wheelbase of your rig?

My rig is at 12 1/8" just sitting and 12.5" at full compression. When I run it it feels very short. Should I try and lower it a tad?

Dustin, yor height seems excessive. At full compression we can't be over 12.5...so your length is correct. You just need to bring it down a bit. We have ours in the 3.5-3.75 height I believe.

Chad, are your shocks at the end of the tabs or in a little? I couldn't tell in the pics.

Thanks mins Yeah it kinda got wadded up but suprisingly nothing broke So i cant complain.....lol As farr as i know i was the only one to almost clean the sidehill on course one....just neeeded a little more wheel time on the rig. Dustin the shocks are one hole in from the end front and rear.

I moved my shocks in one hole on both ends. Raised the front just one hole and it seems to be sitting perfect. I'll run it and see how it does.

Wow. I'm totally blown away by this chassis. So much so that I am considering order one up. I just can't believe how much clearance this thing has. It looks like it could go places a super class crawler could. Like it could climb stairs. Do you have any more videos of the chassis in action? I'd love to see some more.
