Works AMAZING works so well i've (with a tear in my eye) retired the 2.2 Berg The XR10 just fits my style of driving better than my Berg did . I was 40+ packs deep into this truck before i had my first stock bearing failure (mustangboy, nitrojeff,& justjerry can bear witness) the truck , stock bearings and all will take some PUNISHMENT !!!! Stock bearings would've lasted longer , but the last predicament i put it into was completely driver jackassedness that killed the bearing thus takin 4 teeth off the transfer gear .

Tom,
Did you have to mod anything or do the T1E rear lowers and stock rears moved to the front leave you at 12.5 wheelbase?

Radio plate is kicked up a little in the rear too clear the links thru articulation range. Used all the stock long bent ends (drilled & tapped for 4mm hardware), puts it just under 12.5" at full droop. Rear upper links are 129mm eye to eye to clock the rear motor up & the extended rear shock mounts keep the shocks from touching the lower links & still give me a 3.5" belly clearance at the back of the skid.

Did ya beef up the rear? I know when I had issues with my rear stuff they asked if I had the rear servo mount on couse it would cause twisting in the rear if it wasn't there. besides that little note looks nice.

Very nice, how are the HR trannys? Some say with the VP bushings they get hot.

Fit and finish of the HR cases and parts is exceptional , the aluminum trans case and Vp bushings give the motor plate and trans assembly ALOT more rigidity and cuts down the gear and shaft deflection beyond belief .

Haven't really had it compin on the rocks yet , headin to Columbus compin tomorrow so i'll have a better guage of them then . Spoolin them up with a drill (where as my 55 turns will never get them spinnin that fast) and just runnin 5 minutes of messin around on my practice course didn't have any real heat issues. but i'll definitely keep my fingers crossed hahahahaha

The HR upgrades worked AWESOME !!! No complaints what so ever ... We ran 3 courses 10 gates 6 minutes and even with a couple of on my lid full throttle forward-reverse whacks of the throttle , no heat issues in the tranny housings with VP bushings in them .

Thanks HOT-RACING
Thanks Vanquish Products
Thanks JP customs

On a side note when i first built the XR-10 i put rovers on it then i switched to sedonas , today for the 2nd course i tried the rovers again and i will probably never put them on the XR-10 ever again . The sedonas just work their a$$e$ off with the way the truck is set-up ..
