Default XR10 carbon fiber battery mount

Coming soon behind the axle carbon fiber battery mount for the XR10. I have allready started these for the berg axles and will be doing them for the XR10 I Think they work on them know with just flipping the parts over but I need to do some test fitting before I start selling the.

You can check them out here on berg axles Carbon fiber front axle battery mount

Send me one and I'll test it! In all honesty, I kinda like this idea more than putting the battery on top of the axle. Even with a shroud or cover on the battery up front, it still gets beat up. The way you have the mount made would be all out of the way, nice and safe!

I want to see how this sits on the axle. You could be likely to catch it on rocks when it drops the front axle over a ledge.

The plate size is 1.250X2.375 it is made for smaller battery's 850mah thunder power and other 850's should fit fine.

No more than the plates people are bolting to the back of Berg axles. This idea has worked on my berg for a whole season with no issues and it looks like Ron has really improved the design by using the motor/gearbox union to hold the thing in place

Very creative Ron! I'll be in line for one

Well here it is mounted up it works great there is all the room you need and it the suspension cycles great no interferance anywere.

I will be offering this as a preorder and will ship out in the order they come in. I will put them in the same Thread as the berg mount becuase they sre the same just make sure you specify it for the XR10.

Here is the link.

I think it needs to be in the shape of an L with the bottom part acting as a support to keep the battery up and protect it from rock puctures.

Its not an issue, Many people run the battery just velcro'd to the back of the motor with NO ISSUES

Judging by the first picture, I'd say yes.

Yes you can the slots in the motor side plate allow for adjustment for caster.
