| shock suggestions
I am in the process of building my first moa crawler. I am using the V4 chassis but I am curious if anyone else has built one and found a good shock set up. I've heard a lot about g-made transition shocks but never used them before. Any suggestions wouls be greatly appreciated.

well, i would suggest starting in Krwlfreaks BJV4 thread. id stay away from g-made shocks, and focus on the ones that came w/ your kit or some big bores. |

I have run three different sets of shocks, and by far my favorite is the Traxxas Big Bores. Second would be the Losi's, then the Axials. The big bores seem to be much smoother than either of the others to me.

We settled on the traxxas big bores with losi springs and revo rod ends. I run this setup on my UCG viper xr and love it. I totally agree that they seems to be the smoothest. I have seen several other setups with this shock and they all seem to work great. Not that other setups cant work as good but I've just never heard a complaint about the big bores.

Thanks for everyone's input. As always it's the most valuable thing we can pass along
