| Progress XR
Hi when I saw this chassis, I know that I gonna build a second XR-10 but not full stock like I wanted in first But I can't wait to have all the part need for trying this, so I take the axles from my BJ and put this on the progress, just need to adjust the link w/ different rod end It's not perfect, the upper rear don't work like I want, it's hit the lower link.. but I'm waiting for the upper from Chaotic (hope this works w/ Nova high clearance link) but for a first test, I think I can run like this just few pics of my little run yesterday (just a little test before this week end, we gonna have a all day running w/ some friends at the "dancing rocks") (I know, I need to fix my ESC ) and for the next step, I gonna use some micro sidewinder, and a bigron lipo mount any advice is welcome |

Mmmm. Eritex Rockers. Try rotating your rear uppers 180* so the bend is towards the front. I had to do that on my rig to help clear my high bend links. |

Hey dude...Nice start so far. The clearance issues on your upper links isn't uncommon because of how crazy narrow the PROGRESS is. It can be fixed a couple of ways. You can do like TSK said & rotate em 180 degrees moving the bend closer to the chassis & further from the axles but you may still have some contact...or what I did was just stand em off of the chassis about 1/4" with aluminum spacers. Doing it THIS way also helps to triangulate the entire suspension setup...giving you a more stable platform. You can see what I mean in the following pic... The PROGRESS is definitely a narrow package but like I said...by designing it this way...It pulls your shocks in tight at the chassis which creates a more stable triangulation when it's combined with the spread at the axles. Keep us posted. Interested to see your take on this build. J.D. |

thanks men !!!! I tried to flip my upper link but when I do that, the link hit the motor... I tried to mount my link inside of the chassis but there's not enought triangulation so now I gonna try your solution Mr Guru the Crawler innovation complicate my link set up, but I like how it fit on the chassis (lot of clearance) |

As far as your links...I'm running the same lowers for now & have zero issues with clearance or binding. Give the standoffs a try. When I get to my shop...I'll get you actual numbers on the lengths if that'll help. I DO know they were out of my vast collection of Axial aluminum spacers. | |

now I got some work to do for this one I've got my lower link ( CI high clearance front and rear), need to rebuild my big bore for the upper I think about Chaotic, but he don't sell the upper only and choose a motor, maybe Holmes like my other XR, I like them |
