Default Slowly but surely xr-10 build

Well im going to start my axial xr10 build and figured id share along the way.....

It started out like this

Since im starting my build with the axles I got some of this

Have you ot any electronics yet for it or have any idea of what you are going to get?? I like the VP items too.

Don't forget your bearing mod (9mm), it's important...and tighten your screws well....good luck...I like the color scheme ...

No need for the bearing mod with the VP Cases and motor plates

Thanks for help jeepkid

I do have ideas on electronics, fxrs & hh motors, hitec 7950, futaba 4pl.

I have some Billet works design items in mind also. And would like the vp knuckles but running stock wheels for now so may need some axial knuckles or run stock if they can survive. I don't really wanna cut my wheels up.

IMO....nothing like building it...get's into your blood, becomes part of you after that. I like building the best I think....

Well awaiting more axle parts before I get them started I went ahead and assembled wheels and tires.

Its been a long wrenching road for me. I've spent more time building and Modding than actual rock slappin. Just like Postclanker says. The build is fun. It gives you a better idea of finding problems when they arise

Slowly lol, im waiting on a few goodies from BWD and RC4wd I should have more together soon for it to be a roller, im itchn to get going.

Got these today, axial knucks since im running stock wheels for now and some traxxas bushings to upgrade the faulty axial ones. Id like to figure out what kind of steering tie rod to use, anyone have info for me?

Take your time and do it right....do lots of reading in here....
I actually made my own steering link...6/32 threaded rod, revo rod ends, 1/4" aluminum sleeve...it was actually easy. Be careful with cutting back the bottom axel...I messed up the first attempt...
