| Limited's - Team BWD - "The Thing" First off I want to thank Don for extending a invitation to me to join Team BWD. It came at perfect timing and I am pleased to be part of the team. So, I have been on business in Sarasota, FL for the past couple days and have been anxiously awaiting my return home to unveil the start of my new build. "The Thing" came as a kit; chassis and links(upper and lower). This will help take the guess work out alot of the build. Standard Revo and Jato rod ends were used in this build on the lower links. The upper links are 3mm. So any 3mm short axial or traxxas rod end will do there. Stay tuned for plenty of pics and build videos to follow. Specs: Axial XR-10 Kit Billet Works "The Thing" Bodiless Chassis Dual Tekin FXR's Team Brood 45T Matched Motors Futaba 4PK Hitec 7950TH Servo Castle BEC @ 7.0V GEN ACE 450 Batteries Axial SCX10 Shocks MRC Silver and MiniT Green Springs 60wt Oil BWD XR10 Lower links BWD Ti Upper Links - Custom bent Losi Boss Claws Stock Losi Foam - Rear DD medium/soft - Front VP V6 or V2 Slw's. 475 hubs - front 600 hubs - rear VP Zero Ackerman Knuckles VP Lockouts VP Motor Plates, Cases, Top Link mounts F/R HR C-Hubs Axial Front axle on Rear Team Trick Custom front axle battery tray The chassis kit came packaged seperately from the cab. The cab and chassis are fastened together with the delrin standoff's and stainless 3mm hardware supplied in the kit. There are also aluminum standoff's included for the shocks and upper links. I got as far as I could tonight; finally a roller!!! I will have a build video posted tomorrow. To do list:

Thanks everyone! So here is what I came up with for panels. I used some .030 lexan I had purchased a while back for the side panel and the roof. Color scheme was what I had availible to me with out having to go out and buy some paint. One of these days im going to break down and purchase some Krawler Koncepts inside skins. I just have a hard time figuring out what to come up with for the skins. Furthermore, it is still a roller and I hope to have the electronics installed completely tonight. Here are a few pics. This "Thing" is really growing on me It looks to be more centered than most xr chassis. Have you drove it any yet to see how the balance is? |

Did you get some new software? I saw some new transitions in there. I really really like the the last "flash" type transition between all the truck pics. What are you using??? Got to know Great job! If I don't get a new PC and software soon, I'm just going to get you to start making my videos |

Thanks guys! Harvo, I am still using the same software basically. The transition is a preset called "Flashback." I have also been using Blender to create some of the animated SCRCC intros and have been toying around with Adobe After Effects lately for some animation as well.
