lol...i don't care if you vent on my thread. I hate when i get a tracking number with no scans. makes me feel a little nervous also. but when you get your package everything will be better. suppose to go practice tomorrow, except i will have my stock XR. here is a video I took last weekend....it was my first time ever crawling..period! so don't laugh and take it easy on me.

nice video Tommy. how come you hafta use the stock xr? Also what foams are you running in those tires they don't seem to let the tire do what it's supposed to, they seem a little stiff in the video.

Until my VP wheels get here tuesday i'm stuck drving the stock. about the foams....???? i bought this XR used so i don't have a clue about the foams. I have some good foams ready to go in when my wheels arrive. thanks

Got some more stuff in today. I taught my wife to mount up beadlocks tonight....and seems like she's better at it than me...(well....i told her that so I will never again have to mount up my wheels/tires) Vanquish thought they had 1 set of black DH Comp II's but turns out they had none. Ittybitty on this forum let me borrow a front set of his for saturday's comp, until mine get in next week! My Rockshow SS will be here tomorrow and i can finally get this girl up and running. Got my 45t Brood motors mounted to my axles, my Rowdy Racing lipo mount installed, and links all together.. on with the pics

Looking good Tommy. I should've sent you some 16ga wire to put on your rig. You're gonna want to wait until you have the axles installed on the chassis before you make your final solder on the motor wires. The way you have them will probably hit the shocks or links.

I think I mentioned it, but on the rear upper links you'll probably need a Jato rod end at one end of the links. When the chassis shows up you'll need one Jato end on one end of each of the rear lower links. Some people put them at the chassis...some at the axle. Since you're going to be running a front axle case in the rear (limited77 converted it already) I would put the Jato ends at the axle...this helps with keeping the motor above the links for a smoother transition. There's benefits to either way though. If I remember correctly the rear uppers should be mounted in the 2nd hole up on the rear axle link mount and the front uppers should be in the 3rd hole up on the front upper link mount. The chassis should be assembled with the screws and crossbraces already in the "right" places. You might have to move them forward or backward to accomodate the upper links, but their position up or down should already be right. I probably shouldn't say the "right" position, but something more like the best starting point to make adjustments to suit your driving style.

I'd also recommend running the green springs on the front and the blue springs on the rear.

Looking forward to seeing it run this weekend
