Looks really good!!! May want to flip the servo in the front and up grade to a beefier steering link, i've seen that turnbuckle set up snap on more than on rig. Im running a Jato and a Revo rod end screwed together, seems to be the right length and is really strong.

I can cut a length for you and attach the rod ends if you would like. I'll bring it to the comp on Sat.

I made some changes... some for the better some not.
I flipped the servo, made a new linkage, trimmed the servo guard a little so it doesnt rub the tire and swapped in some aluminum c's (already had aluminum knuckles).

I also swapped the shocks for Traxxas bigbores with Jeepindoug balls on top and out boarded the rears. Unfortunatly, now the suspension is way to tight so I need to find some different springs. (I installed some Losi grey, golds were too soft)

I still wasnt happy with how the truck performed Saturday (second win in a row) so, I made a couple adjustments.
-rear shock position changed to give more ground clearance.
-rear wheels changed over to aluminum to stop beads from pulling and add a little low weight
-steering linkages replaced with solid rod (Thanks Dave)

I got a little happy with the sander and went too deep on the axle case so I used some black styrene and some ca.

Looks good...
How do you like how it drives vs. the Bully?

I ask since I ran a 2.2 Bully for ~1 year (still have it) but bought a used XR-10 this spring. It's still fairly stock (replaced front uppers with Axial machined, replaced rear uppers with my own aluminum tube type), I also modded the C-hubs to allow a little more clocking and did the axle bearing shim trick.

For me, what may have been work with the Bully seems easy with the '10.
On the other hand I have to remind myself, "It's an XR-10, don't jump the throttle when bound up.....it's NOT a Bully!!"

Its a world better than the bully. I was first to preorder the bully axles and first to get them. They are nearly indistructable and I was able to dominate the local series for a couple years with them... Over the past year I started loosing comps because we were making the courses harder and harder and the bully couldnt keep up. The xr10 axles are definatly more fragile though. Even with larger bearings and hardened gears, I got some skipping at the last comp.

I have gotten tons and tons of request for them. We have a great club member with a cnc router who has been cutting them for locals but, at this point I dont see myself getting back into vending.

.
Is the skipping/popping coming from the rear axle? If its the rear you might try the two screw mod to help hold the rear axle together. Mark Reels xr build thread has a good write up with pics. My rear axle has the vp gear case and motor plate, hardened gears and the two screw mod but are otherwise stock. I've beat it like a rented mule for 5 comps and a few practice sessions putting it onto some really nasty binds without any issues.

While I was swapping on some new shoes I decided to lighten things up a bit... Total loss is 1/2oz. I know its not much but its something.
