Default shocks

i have been hearing mixed options about the way to run shocks ive heard running them upside down is bad because of the air bubbles being at the end and with them right side up then its at the top with the cap which is no harm so what are yalls opinion to this?

I've always ran my big bores upside down. It works great for me. But then again.... Never ran the the other way, so I'm not much help I guess.

The diaphragm on the big bores eliminates the air pocket.
