| Swapping out receivers
I have duel FXR's smashed and have changed radios, so I have everything plugged into the new receiver. I need to calibrate the ESC's to the new receiver and my question is can they both be plugged in when you do the reset? So I just reset one, then the other? Is there a order you need to follow, like reset the rear first then the front? Do you unplug one ESC, then calibrate, then plug in the other and calibrate? I'm sure this is routine for most, but I'm kinda new to all this and really new to running duel ESC's. Thanks for the help!! Mike |

If its a receiver only and the same radio you don't have to do anything but replace it. The ESC's don't care what receiver is there. Now if you were changing receiver for a new radio then yes.. On mine I just put both ESC's in calibration mode and walllla... |

Yea,,,I did get a new radio,,,they were both futaba, but went from 4PL to 4PK. So it sounds like it's been done both ways. Hey T3rry,,,,did you do it in any order? Like do the rear first then the front or vice versa? Would it really matter? Thanks Mike |

Ya you can do it one at a time but you gotta kill the power to the motor of the one your not doing or it will end up cleaning everything off your bench and ending on the floor |

Or just prop it up on a stand. I don't unplug them but only calibrate one at a time. It doesn't matter which order you do it in. |

i usually unplug the rear from the receiver, program the front, then unplug the front, plug in the rear, program the rear, then plug em both back in and you're good to go. | |
