| A UK agent.
Hi all have had this xr since they first came out and thought it about time I put a few pictures up. Having been back to Germany again this year for the supercrawl and getting a 3rd place at our UK nationals I now feal I'm at a point were I feel as tho I have a fairly well setup truck. First of the chassis is awesome thanks krawlfreak this is the first chassis I have ran on this xr when I actualy feal as tho I'm connected to the truck. I'm currently running at 3.8lb with battery mounted. Running plastic axial tops and the usual vp bits with RC4WD gears for strength. With also the egressor no slop rear shaft ( which are awesome ) thanks cristian. With silver mini t springs all round and 50wt oil front and rear. I will post more pics as things change up. Before the super crawl looking all new and shiney. Then I made some lightweight plastic wheels from some plastic B44 front which I run with 850 vp hubs. And how she is now. Still have things to do but I'm real happy with how it performs. Next up to add maybe 1oz either side at the front. Last edited by skipeee; 08-02-2012 at 03:21 PM. Reason: Cos I'm a div :-) |

That's running no extra weight. I ran with no weight at our nationals ( the rock had loads of grip and no steep climbs). I'm going to add a little just to ease my mined. Although the truck ran very well with a few driver errors. I love it with no weight but I not a 100% confident driving else were like this. | |

Also forgot to say I use the futaba R2106GF receiver. When de cased and due to the fact the plugs go in the side this thing shrinks down to almost nothing. As seen here on the left. |

| Re: A UK agent. fastner express. they have a massive range and cheep as hell. I even went for te shallow nuts to save a bit more weight. went back to silver now tho as it gets scrached up real easy. left the purple alloy screws in my carbon wheels tho for now tho as I mostly run my plastic B44 wheels with my boss claws. |

Curious what your width is with the 850 hubs and b44 wheels I'm interested in trying it out, how do you like them so far?
