Erik_DLux has awesome knuckle weights. I switched from vp knuck weights to his because his are light and have a set screw to tighten them to the knuckle and alot smaller they weigh 2oz per weight

I'm a bit confused ...thought you wanted some weight...looking for lighter weights doesn't compute for me.

VP Weights work great

If I remember correctly both vp weights weigh 6.7oz and Erik's weigh 4oz. I built the new T1e sniper and trying to get as light as possible. My viper II chassis I did run vp weights but with the sniper it is half the weight as the viper so I cut down on the knuckle weight. Just preference and setup on the new rig.

it depends on your setup and drive style,

lots of drivers still put weight in their wheels.

It has the same effect as a weighted fly wheel.

especially with high power motors, it helps to smoothen the power.

Thats almost funny post. I can understand if you want a lighter base weight but the rest makes no sense. The VP base weight is less then many people add so that usually isnt an issue either.

The VP weights design of screwing on from the back is superior to the set screw though. I owned both sets. I am not a fan of side loading the knuckle.

I only run 2oz of added weight per wheel in front at most and even less than that on 70% of courses a 2oz knuckle weight would loose me some of that freedom to change weights

Both knuckle and wheel weights in a beautiful cooperative ratio.

I just strap a couple of silver bars inside my crawler and punch it. Guaranteed podium with that kind of bling!

Agreed. I cleaned up the thread.

Erik, Tom, Neither one of you guys need to stoop to the level of nit picking and/or posting possible hearsay about the others products. Both of your company names speak for themselves, let your products do the talking.
