XR10 Plan/ideas?

I am 14 a bit of a noob but not stupid.
i am on a bit of a budget
my plan is

Axial XR10 kit
Spektrum DX3C
Novak M2 dual motor ESC 2 55t terra claws combo
Proline chisels
Castle Creations BEC
Traxxas 2075 waterproof servo
Maxamps LiPo 1300 3-cell 11.1v Battery

On a tight budget just trying to get out there with a nice crawler.
Share improvements you would make (budget in mind)
And just you set up.

Looks like a good start but the Proline Chisels won't be as great as some other tires like HB Sedona (white), HB Rovers (white), or Losi Boss Claws (red), for about the same money.

Also, don't be afraid to spend $20 on a star. Support the forum and gain access to the classifieds.

The above suggestions should cost around the same as your initial plan.

Cam & Charlie got ya on the right path & I'd agree with em on all points.

DEFINITELY buy a star. You can find CRAZY deals on RTR XR's, parts, rollers etc. in the classifieds section. Besides...like Cam pointed out, supporting this HUGE wealth of knowledge isn't a bad thing no matter how ya slice it.

Also...make the SEARCH button your friend. A lot of new guys get butt hurt that their questions go unanswered but it's usually because those same questions have been asked, answered & discussed literally dozens of times. I can almost guarantee that ANY question you have can be found with a few minutes worth of searching.
