Not sure about the other vendors but I'm pretty sure with cf you get what you pay for, I made ytc replica wheels, with the amount of work it took I did not want to take any chances with cheap carbon. Good luck. |

I ordered some red Carbon/Kevlar from Composite Envisions a while back. They ignored me and my order for about 2 months and the when it arrived it turned out the panel was garbage. Was warped like crazy, Thickness was not uniform, Top sheet was gloss but had tons of imperfections, Back of the panel was not finished, Only part of the sheet that was Red Carbon/Kevlar was the top sheet, the rest was low grade CF. I wound up using Protech Composites and it was a night and day experience. Talked to the owner on the phone, he took my order, and custom made then panel I was looking for. 6 layers of red Carbon/Kevlar with alternating weave directions. Finish quality was great.
