Default how does link placement transfer weight?

iv read most of the builds on here but none really explain how different mounting points affect weight transfer.

my front lifts when going up. my links are set to clock the motors up as far as possible. im running the stock chassis and 7.5oz in each front wheel.

is there a thread somewhere im missing that explains link placement ad its affect on the truck?

Search. There's been a lot of threads on this forum in the past 6 months or so.

You'll find most of the top guys have raised the front and rear axle links and also tune the weight transfer with the top inner links

Here's a post I like that shows one builders thought process when placing links, don't forget it's not set in stone, links change dynamically as the suspension cycles:

The XR instruction manual has a nice guide in the back that shows all the mounting holes on the chassis and what they do when you use them

I looked that up and it makes simple sense out of link placement at the chassis. Page 34 and the manual can be viewed or downloaded from the axial XR10 product page.

good call.

It talks of squat but doesn't say how squat relates to traction

Diagram for Anti-squat

This makes for interesting reading. Plus you can check out Pirate4x4 since 1:1 ideas will translate over to scale vehicles.
