hey bud. If u go back and look at my previous post u can see where ive been through trial an error with this rig. It looks brittle but its not. Its reinforced in all the rifht places and takes a dang good beating honestly. All the parts are top of the line and it out last some of the carbon rigs here.

I'm assuming you're using ~1/8" Lexan for the chassis? It bends well cold without cracking.
To prevent stress cracks, I use a "dull" drill bit so I don't leave "stress risers" in any holes. A quick/short countersink on each end of the holes helps transition the loads from the hole to the side material.

PS, for us "small screen" guys, hit "enter" after each picture so we don't have to scroll side to side..... thanks.....
Thanks bud. Its actual a .90 lexan or polycarbonate body. I actually drill tiny holes in tje most stressed areas of the body and it reduces alot of stess on the truck. I also already do exactly what u said and use a countersunk spacer on all the points of contact. Still puts my rig at only 4.4 pounds. Thanks for the tips and checking out my rig.

A little update. Ripped the xr apart preparing it for next comp. I am trying to eliminate as much slop in the drive gears as possible. The rc4wd drive gear and a lightweight ckrc final is not the combo to use, way to much slop. I changed over to an axial lightweight hardened and cleaned it up alot. Well while I had it torn apart I had a couole beauties come in the mail from John over at Holmes hobbies. These are my new 500 pullers. They look sick. The new cans are just sweet these are the 16t crawler version. I will also be throwing my very own chassis on real soon so stay tuned for that beauty! Now for some pics!
The mess im dealing with.
