The fly seams to be a great mix of break over and low profile chassis styles. It's hard to not want to pick one up. Can't wait to see it on 3.5 shocks.

I sure like the Crawlerkeller Reptile chassis. It should will looks better when you get the 3.5" shocks. Did you bend the links. Great looking truck

The links are from Krawlerkeller.
Its way to high with 4" shocks, its just to get it together.

I've seen this truck set up " perfect" IMO a few times. You'll get it bro. Scx shocks, as much as I love big bores, give a great stance for this rig. Gives a nice straight line for the uppers ya know. I may have to get one. Did you have any trouble ordering? It's what's kept me from ordering this far. Thanks!

Thanks,I'm thinking about trying the scx shocks but not sure how to do it on top of the cap.
How long will the scx shock be with a rod end on top? Or is it a cap mod ala Dlux on Big Bores?
Ordering was no problem, did it on their web page. Got a mail after a day or two,and the week after it was here in Norway.
Ordered a lot of things from Crawlerkeller, and everything went smooth;)

Modding the cap isn't too hard. You just cut off the mount loop flush with the top of the cap. Take a 2.5mm drill bit and from the inside out, drill a hole in the center of the cap. Turn a 3mm button head through and presto, it's ready for a rod end of your liking.

Here's the ones I did for my rig. These are with the XR10 bent rod ends from the kit and make the length of the shock 95mm give or take a mm.

Addicteds situation was a tough one with the dd. for your application I wouldn't mod the plastic caps. I'd be willing to bet 20$ on straight up scx shocks would put your upper links close to dead straight. I've always rocked big bores and just installed my first set of scx shocks last week. It's like they are made for these types of builds. There is someone out there doing nicer shock body's for scx shocks now to. I believe you use all the same parts but throw them into the 60$ body's and they are tougher.

What does she look like when you move the rears forward? I'm curios if you can get it without limiting the shocks. I haven't read anything on the other threads about shock stuff that sticks out to me right now. Sorry bro.

Like if you move the rear shocks in at the chassis. I realize that you may not want to run them there but I'm trying to see if you can lower the truck without limiting the shocks. I believe you have 2 holes in the rear of the chassis that you could move the shocks in. Just curios if that will drop her down a bit. I'm bumbed that the 90mm didn't just drop ya down. I'm going to look at the other threads to see if I missed something

Ok holt, on the reptile thread I just saw he limited each 90mm shock by another 8mm internally. His mod to the shock brought him to 3.15 inch shock ( I believe he said 8cm). His shocks and links seem to be in the same spot but he really shortened the shocks more than I would have thought. Hope this helps bro!

I think I need to try it,when everything is ready. It seems a bit to high I think, but it must be tried first.
