the only weakness i have is bladder control when im driving it lol. But honestly, this truck/buggy doesnt really have any. I have put about 5 full runs on her so far and the only thing i broke was a shock tower that was completely my fault. Just google reviews for it and/or search reviews for it in this forum. IMHO it is totally worth every penny spent on it. This is the most fun i have had with an R/C in awhile, besides my wraith of course |

I've driven mine about 6 times so far and after a session of about 60+ jumps from the same 5 ft tall jump, I broke a wheel on a bad landing. Otherwise it's holding up fine. Things that could be changed out of the box would be the servo though. After that, I've been having a ton of fun with mine as well, it's a fun "crawl slow, drive fast" deal and I've enjoyed it a lot so far. |

Is the truck worth it? Hell yeah, this thing is a blast. And incredibly durable, considering how heavy it is and moving at 50+ mph, I can't believe stuff it has driven away from. The steering is the only thing that really could benefit from upgrades IMHO. Stock servo is poopie, and it needs an aluminum steering rack to get rig of the extra flex in the steering. Other then that, just some tooning.. Shock/ diff oil.

new servo would help but as far as tuning goes, just research. Oil shocks are easy, just empty out the current oil and refill with new oil of your choosing. Sway bar would be nice but no one makes it at the moment but you can look up some home cooked ones that are pretty easy

Honestly you really don't have to tune anything. It's set up for a good balance out of the box. It would be just some fine tuning to your driving style. And as Jsouza1980 said its really easy to do. Basically the oil limits the top speed something can move. Thicker is slower. For shocks, too thin and the suspension just flops around too thick and it wont absorb any of the terrain. It will seem like you have no suspension. For the diff, thicker oil is going to be more like a locker. It will track straighter under throttle and have more traction. The catch is that it won't steer as well. It all comes down to driving style, terrain and preference. |
